
SUNDAY GREEN BEANS
Somebody needs to preserve this classic. I recall it from
almost every Sunday dinner at college.
2 pkgs., 10-ounce each, of frozen French-cut green beans (can also use cut
broccoli, spinach, etc.)
1 can (10 oz) condensed cream soup, undiluted (Mushroom is the classic, can also
use celery or chicken. Even fat-free)
1 can French-fried onion rings (or can substitute dried bread crumbs mixed with
butter)
Cook vegetables according to instructions. Drain. Mix with undiluted soup and
half of the can of onion rings. Top with remaining onion rings. Bake 20 minutes
at 350 degrees.
