SAGE BISCUITS CHICOUTIMI

These biscuits are named for the steamship Chicoutimi, famed for her trips up the Saguenay River in Canada.

About 16 biscuits

Sift the flour into a bowl and add the backing powder, oil, milk and sage. Stir with a wooden spoon and add the salt. Blend until smooth. Drop the batter by spoonfuls into a greased baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated 475 degree F (350 degree C) oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
