
GARY PLAYER'S WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups digestive bran
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 raised teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups plain yogurt
Mix dry
ingredients together. Add yogurt and mix well. Pour into greased bread tin.
Bake at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes.
Makes 12 servings.
Per serving: 129 calories; 1 g fat (0.5 g saturated fat; 7 percent
calories from fat); 26 g carbohydrates; 2 mg cholesterol; 355 mg sodium; 7 g
protein; 6 g fiber.
